Tempo De Amor, inspired by Céu and Herbie Hancock
Updated: Aug 20, 2021

Herbie Hancock's version of Tempo De Amor, with the wonderful singer Céu, is soooo great.
I love the playing, the singing, the drumming, the funky bass and the super cool solo playing by the Master himself.
You can find this style in the LATIN pack.
But, what is most striking are the lovely lyrics, courtesy of Vinicius de Moraes and Baden Powell.
Tempo de Amor Ah, bem melhor seria Poder viver em paz
(how much better would it be to live in peace) Sem ter que sofrer (without suffering) Sem ter que chorar (without crying) Sem ter que querer (without wanting) Sem ter que se dar (without giving yourself) Mas tem que sofrer (But you have to suffer) Mas tem que chorar (and you have to cry) Mas tem que querer (you have to desire) Pra poder amar (to be able to love) Ah, mundo enganador (oh deceiptful world) Paz não quer mais dizer amor (Peace doesn't mean more love) Ah, não existe coisa mais triste que ter paz (ah, nothing is more sad than to live in peace) E se arrepender, e se conformar (...and regret, and adapt yourself to the situation) E se proteger de um amor a mais (and protect yourself from one more love) O tempo de amor (the time of love) É tempo de dor (is the time of pain) O tempo de paz (times of peace) Não faz nem desfaz (won't do or undo) Ah, que não seja meu (wouldn'it be better for me) O mundo onde o amor morreu (to inherit a world without love) Ah, não existe coisa mais triste que ter paz (ah, nothing is more sad than to live in peace)
E se arrepender, e se conformar (...and regret, and adapt yourself to the situation)
E se proteger de um amor a mais (and protect yourself from one more love)
Here you can find the file (mgu file) for the tune. Remember, the file wants to play a Jazzstylezz style. If you don't have styles from Jazzstylezz, you can use another style that you like.
