Waltz n°2, the Elliott Smith tune

Elliott Smith wrote some wonderful tunes and Waltz n°2 is certainly one of them. I find myself humming the tune all day long.

I thought it was intresting to see how it would hold up as a simple jazz tune.

I think it does...

What's wonderful, harmonically is the way all temporary 1-chords are approached with a dominant chord. That makes it sound bluesy without being a real blues.
